Hello fellow Poetry Lovers! I'm so happy to be back! I began to share on Poetry Friday a few years ago and loved being part of such a wonderful community of authors, educators, and poetry lovers. Since my original participation In PF, I have had a career change. Although I am still a Reading Specialist (1/2 time), I now am in the midst of my third year as an elementary School Librarian (also 1/2 time). I love the unique role that I play in my school community. I am also now a member on the amazing New York State Reading Association's Charlotte Book Award Committee.
I'm looking forward to posting what I'm sharing during my "Poetry Breaks!," ways in which I'm sharing and promoting the love of poetry in my library and throughout the school, poetry book reviews, and any other kinds of poetry love that deserves a bit of pondering.
